The NMR Facility serves the students and faculty of the Chemistry Department. Users from UF but outside the Department can use the Facility under the same conditions as users within the Department. Users from outside UF have to contact Ion Ghiviriga to have their spectra run here. Users take their own spectra. You have to be trained and tested to become a user. There is a fee for the time used (See Charges), which will be billed to a specific grant you select at the time of login.

Users have to observe the rules for the NMR rooms:

  • NO loose metal objects in the NMR room. Use the lockers by the door.
  • NO samples preparation in the NMR room.
  • NO food and drinks in the NMR room.
  • NO gloves on the keyboards.
