Mercury 300 MHz 4-nuc (m4n)

in CLB107

This is the instrument for quick-checking reactions. It is a walk-up instrument from 0800 to 1700 M-F: no need to sign in, if someone else comes in line to use it, you have to release the instrument in 5 minute.

It has a quadruply tuned probe, high-band H1 and F19 simultaneously, low-band C13 and P31, so you can check samples using all of these nuclei without the need to tune.

No variable temperature on this instrument, 5 minutes is not enough to bring it back to room temperature.

In principle you can run 2D experiments with gradients and indirect detection on the m4n, but any of the other instruments will perform better.
